Search for Significance

Where are you in your personal search for significance in life? What makes you feel good about yourself? All of us have experienced unpleasant life circumstances where we feel a sense of failure, rejection, guilt, shame, or all of the emotions combined. Can you relate to any of these situations: loss of a job, failure to achieve, physical or emotional abuse, a childhood home in which alcoholism or another addiction was present, death of a spouse or other loved one, living in impoverished circumstances, imprisonment, loneliness, feeling too busy, feeling misunderstood, experiencing frequent anger, experiencing hurt easily?

Then the Search for Significance Life Support Group is for you. Once you complete this 12-week support group you will be able to base your self-worth on the love, acceptance, and forgiveness of Jesus Christ and not on the world's standards, such as the approval of others or the ability to succeed at certain tasks. This resource will deal with life issues such as chemical dependency, codependency, abuse recovery, eating disorders, divorce recovery, and recovery from ANY losses in life. Come, take the first step to a fulfilling life.

This group will meet once a week for 12 weeks. The workbook varies in price depending on our source.

Making Peace with Your Past

Are you hampered by the baggage from your past? The truth is, much of who you are, what you do, and how you feel is affected by your past. Whether they're relationships from your childhood or pressures from recent years, the events of the past can have a significant impact on your current behavior. But, your past does not have to determine your future.

This insightful and perceptive book shows you how to unlock past hurts, confront emotional scars, and resolve negative feelings in order to live a more fulfilling life today. Writing from a compassionate, Christian perspective, the author helps you understand who you are, who is responsible for your character, and how you can let go of the things of the past in order to live with confidence and enthusiasm.

This group meets once a week for 10 weeks. Groups form throughout the year so register your name to save your spot in  the next group for a life changing experience.

Boundaries

Christians often focus so much on being loving and giving that they forget their own limits and limitations. Have you ever found yourself wondering:

  • Can I set limits and still be a loving person?

  • How do I answer someone who wants my time, love, energy, or money?

  • Why do I feel guilty when I consider setting boundaries?

This study will give you biblically-based answers to these and other tough questions, and show you how to set healthy boundaries with your parents, spouses, children, friends, coworkers and even yourself.

This is a nine week study including a weekly video during group time.

Traveling Light

We all lug loads we were never intended to carry. The suitcase of guilt. The trunk of discontent. A backpack of anxiety and a hanging bag of grief.

Add on a briefcase of perfectionism, an overnight bag of loneliness, and a duffel bag of fear. No wonder we get so weary. We're worn out from carrying that excess baggage. Wouldn't it be nice to lose some of those bags? Let's release some of the burdens we were never intended to bear. Max Lucado invites us to join him on this journey releasing the luggage of life.

This group meets once a week for 9 weeks. This is a breath of fresh air studying the 23 Psalm that you won’t want to miss. It is one more step toward freedom in Christ.
